In the latest battle involving the works of Harper Lee, the authorâs estate is suing the producer Scott Rudin over the script of an upcoming Broadway play of To Kill A Mockingbird.. and ends the play in a much different place. The play also has an open-ended run which is a testament to its popularity and reception. There are a couple of changes (some of which caused a little controversy).
